Rena loves nature and animals, especially cats and horses. Even though she devotes a lot of her time to take care for her precious animals she is also in the office welcoming our guests with a smile on her face and ready to book your reservation. Rena has been with River Oaks since it began.

Rachael Ruiz
Co-Owner and General Manager

Rachael likes to enjoy life with her loved ones, especially her two beautiful daughters.  She also loves to travel to Texas State Parks and enjoys the beautiful scenery and wildlife Texas offers. Rachael wears multiple hats as she coordinates the day to day operations as well as manages HR and Accounting. Rachael has been with River Oaks since 1999 and enjoys visiting with her guests.

Shain Hennig
Maintenance Supervisor

Shain loves the country, he enjoys the outdoors and likes to explore new places. He loves traveling but when he is at work he dedicates his time to ensure all the cabins comply with our highest quality standards. Shain has been with River Oaks since 2004.

Jesse Salinas
Maintenance

Jesse is our first line of response to any maintenance request, he does a great job and you can tell he enjoys what he does as he is always smiling, singing and greeting our guests. Our guests know they can count on him to respond quickly and professionally. Jesse has been with River Oaks since 2008.

Housekeeping

Sylvia is responsible for all the cabins cleanliness and inventory. She takes pride in her work and she does a great job making sure all of our cabins clean and well-equipped with everything you need for your next visit. You can count on her for a smile, even in the rainy days. Sylvia has been with River Oaks since 2000.
