About River Oaks Resort

Located an hour and fifteen minutes west of San Antonio and just 7 miles south of Garner State Park, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, River Oaks Resort is family owned and operated with thirty six modern vacation homes and cabins on and nearby the crystal clear Frio River. All homes are completely furnished, heated & air conditioned and all kitchens are fully equipped to provide you with a complete home away from home at very affordable prices. We are currently in our off season and the discounted rates apply until May 24, 2012, Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Day weekend to Labor day weekend is our peak season.

Winter rains

Thanks to the rain in December we received over an inch of water and we have already received another inch so far in January, so were are looking forward to a great year at the Frio River.

The burn ban has been lifted in Concan due the the recent rains, so don't forget the marshmallows!
